UP Nexus WCL Edge - Low-Power Edge AI System with Intel® Core™ Series 3
The UP Nexus WCL Edge (UPN-WCL01-SYS) is a compact industrial Edge AI system powered by Intel® Core™ Series 3 processors, formerly codenamed Wildcat Lake. Developed by AAEON UP in collaboration with Intel, it brings the new platform to edge deployments with a combination of AI computing capability, 48GB of onboard LPDDR5 memory, high-speed connectivity, and industrial operating flexibility.
With up to 40 TOPS of AI performance at the platform level, the UP Nexus WCL Edge provides a foundation for embedded AI applications that require efficient computing in a compact form factor.
High-Speed Connectivity for Edge AI Applications
Built on the 4” x 4” UP Nexus platform, the UP Nexus WCL Edge integrates a versatile selection of interfaces for industrial and embedded applications. It features dual 2.5GbE LAN, USB Type-A and Type-C connectivity with support for USB 3.2 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, and UP’s familiar 40-pin GPIO for system integration and peripheral control.
These connectivity options support the integration of cameras, network devices, and other peripherals in applications such as machine vision, industrial automation, and edge computing.
Designed for Industrial Edge Deployment
The UP Nexus WCL Edge packages the UP Nexus WCL platform into a deployment-ready Mini PC, helping solution developers move from prototyping to system integration and deployment. Its 12V to 24V DC power input supports flexible power configurations, while its operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C enables use in a variety of industrial environments.
